re ; MOTORBIKE ACCIDENT
Although Laura has just about recovered from her accident, she will not be entering the September competition. she still needs to build her strength up, as she has missed out on a lot of training. All being well she should however be fighting again in October.
MOTORBIKE ACCIDENT MAY PUT
Laura out of Septembers competition
Sunday 23rd Aug, Laura was involved in a motorbike accident, due to a car driver taking a short cut around a bend , the driver of the car didn't stop. Lucky for Laura she was wearing her full leathers on a hot day, which saved her.
She is suffering from whiplash, and internal bleeding in her leg. Although she is back at work on light duties, she is unable to do any form of training for the time being.
Something Laura wants to get across to Bikers,
"No matter how hot it maybe. ALWAYS WEAR YOUR FULL LEATHERS AND BOOTS". " Due to me wearing mine on that very warm day, it saved me from very serious injury".
CAR DRIVERS
Please think BIKE when driving, it's not always the bikers fault that we are not seen.
